I hate mouse, but must use a desktop...

wondering if there's anything similar to touchpad on a laptop?

most importantly, must be Mac compatible, preferablly allows two finger scrolling (that was the greatest invention in the 21st century so far)

will those fancy wacom tablets do the job? If so , someone please pick a model that will suit me (i read and edit a lot of PDF docs in Acrobat everyday, i also do some photoshop on my digital photos)

thx.

edit:

I've googled a bit and found something called "Penabled DualPad" by Wacom, however, it seems like its a OEM technology for tablet PC only. That's what i want, you can use both pen and finger on the pad....!

Yes Wacom Tablets are excellent just got one yesterday.
The Graphire is perfect for what you, and you want to do!
