Touchpad issue in firefox

I've currently switched to using Firefox as my main browser but recently I've encountered a really annoying touch pad issue when using it. All of a sudden I can't scroll within the window.

I'm running Yosemite on a early 2011 macbook pro and Firefox is updated with its most recent update.
