I'm weighing the pros and cons of Chrome vs the stock Samsung browser on my Note 4. Chrome doesn't support S-Pen hover scrolling, which is nice... I haven't noticed a big speed difference between the two either. I prefer the button layout on the stock browser too, clear arrow buttons, refresh, reader mode like on iOS, etc. What about you guys? I made a poll so we can see which is more popular, and why.

I divided it into categories because the Touchwiz on the S5 and later is different than the Note 3 and earlier. On my Note 2 I preferred Chrome, now I'm liking Internet on my new device.

The biggest difference would be if you use chrome across multiple devices. My tabs and bookmarks are the same on my PC, tablet, and phone

I without a doubt like the stock browser better than chrome. It seems more consistent with its performance. You also have the advantage for having two stock browsers open in multi window. Definite win.

I like the stock browser better. It lets you view web pages full screen and also it doesn't have the annoying pinch to zoom issue that Chrome has where your fingers are an inch apart before it actually starts zooming.

I like Chrome. I always use the back button to go back. Rarely go forward. Rarely need to refresh. Sync'd with my computer and iPad is awesome. Never have encountered any zooming issues with Chrome on any device.

Chrome doesn't run well on my Tab S. However, the stock browser absolutely flies.

On my Z3, Chrome is really snappy. But it's the only browser installed by default.

I have Chrome installed but it is a backup browser. I rarely use it.

Pretty much I only use "Internet". A big reason is immersive mode, which for some insane reason isn't supported by Chrome.

I always use Google Chrome on my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 it is way better and loads up web pages very fast, not laggy and it is more better looking than the stock internet browser.

I haven't used the stock internet browser that much but i used Firefox for a while before i switched to Chrome and it is a good web browser but i prefer to use Google Chrome on my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and use Firefox on my Windows 8 tablet. :)

The main reason that i switched to Chrome because of the tabs was on top and lined up next to each other and Firefox did not have that for Android Tablets.

I always use Chrome out of habit and don't think I've even tried the stock browser on my Tab S - I think I'll give it a go after reading the positive comments about it on this thread :)

I use Chrome mainly because of the fact I got my bookmarks synced between all Android / Apple and PC devices.

As far as I'm concerned, the stock browser is a piece of crap. I don't think Chrome is all that good either, there are a few interface things that bug me and it seems to crap out at times.

I actually prefer Firefox on Android despite using Chrome on the desktop.

My Verizon S5 doesn't even have a stock Samsung browser. Chrome is the only browser on the device out of the box.

I've used Chrome for years, I always found the stock browser pretty useless ever since flash stopped working.

Another great thing about the stock browser is that you can rearrange the order of your bookmarks anytime. Very helpful when grouping similar websites. You also very full screen with no status bar option.

I prefer chrome, but use dolphin whenever I need flash

My phone didn't come with aosp browser and when I installed it I didnt notice much of a performance increase at all. It seems to vary by device, because on my HP Touchpad, stock aosp browser performed way better than chrome.

I'm still trying to choose between the two. By the way, what is "aosp" browser? Is that the stock browser?

I have tried many browsers and they all are garbage in some way or another. Every one has some little thing that is just annoying or horrible. Chrome is the only one that is less garbage. Lacking in features yes (no fullscreen mode, can't turn off that crappy zoom in bubble on small text etc) but at least it works. For now anyway.
