Tough Decision, Would Love Some Advice

Really? I'm surprised. I've had two bids so far. My fear is that it'll sell for less than it's worth without a reserve, right?

I recently sold a pair of Focal Polyglass speakers that still retail for $400. I forgot to set a reserve and they sold for about $150. Kinda got screwed.

So what should I do? I contacted eBay (I spent FIVE HOURS online waiting for a chat rep until 4 am last night) about editing my listing (they won't let you delete anything in the description once it's listed which is ridiculous) and they said I could cancel the listing and they would waive the fee. Do you think it's best I relist it without a reserve? Thanks guys!

I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Next time, don't set a reserve if you don't want, just start the bidding at the minimum you would accept. Effectively a reserve without having a reserve set, which I see might scare some folks away. Reserves don't bother me, if I didn't meet the reserve I can always walk away or bid again.

Thanks for the advice :). Next time I'll do exactly that. I have 2 1/2 days left on eBay with a current bid of ~$1500. there are 250+ views, ~50 watchers and 14 bids.

I also added a brand new Apple 24" LED LCD for about $699 or best offer (a few expressed interest in buying the Mac Pro and display if we can agree on a reasonable price).

My friend at Apple is getting me the 8 core Westmere Mac Pro with a 15% discount. Looking forward to it :).
