Tower Madness Bug

I've enjoyed playing Tower Madness for quite awhile. Yesterday the program started kicking me out, back to home page, everytime I tried to start. I wonder if another app is interferring or is this a virus type problem?? I have added a ton of games lately. Any ideas out there?
