Hello, I got a TP-LINK TL-WR800N from my department. It worked with my MBP at the university but when I tried it at home, it didn't. Any idea on what is going on? Thanks.

Do you see the wireless network on your MBP?

Who is your internet provider (ISP) at home?

What device is connecting to the ISP?

How is the ISP's device connecting to the TP-Link?

Did you call the ISP or reset the modem when you change a device that is directly connected to your ISP modem?
