I have looked at a lot of clear TPU cases for my 6s online. All of them advertise having a slightly raised lip around the front that rises just a bit above the screen to protect it if you were to lay the phone down face-first. However what I find when reading the reviews on each is that these are actually designed for the slightly thinner iphone 6- and so when putting these on the 6s that edge is flush with the screen- not rising up high enough to protect it at all if sitting face-down. I went ahead and ordered one online that advertises as being for the 6s, advertises having this protective lip- and sure enough when I put it on my phone, it was flush with the screen- no rise above the screen's level at all.

So my question to all of you is, have any of you bought a basic clear TPU case for your 6s that indeed does have that lip that rises above the level of the screen? If so, could you provide the brand name or a link to where I could find it online?

Hi, I also tried a lot of them. I got Spigen on Amazon, it has a "lip".

Try the Incipio NGP or Frequency or the Belkin Grip Candy SE. I currently have an Incipio NGP on my iPhone 5, and I've had a Belkin Grip Candy Sheer before. Both have lips on them, and the iPhone 6s versions should too.

Technically it doesn't have the "lip", but have you looked at the caudabe veil xt? It's a great little case and it's super thin so it's almost as though you're going caseless...

Idk I've had the veil or veil xt for my past 3 iPhones and I love the case

+1 for Spigen cases. I personally have the Ultra Hybrid. It has hard plastic covering the back and a TPU 'bumper' covering the sides.

I had the spigen and like how it has a lip and covers the bottom of the phone. However tpu makes phones too wide for my hands and I am partial to the power support thin case. It has a lip and I dropped my 6s plus face down and nothing happened to it compared to a similar drop with my 6 and it shattered in another case.

Ringke slim is excellent and rises slightly above the screen

just got one of these for my wife's 6s, and she loves it. Compared to the Spigen Neo Hybrid and Liquid Crystal cases, the Ringke is much slimmer, and feels like it would protect the phone a lot better.

she had the same complaint. Initially I had the Neo Hybrid on her phone, and tried my Ultra Hybrid, both of which were too wide for her hands. Got the Ringke Slim, and she loves it.
