Does the built in app tell me which heart rate zone I am in?

Got the AW6 and want to track what zone I am in. Out of shape and don’t want to push it too soon.

No, I don't believe so.

Now you can certainly just calculate the zones and remember what your threshold HR is, and compare to the number on the display.

There may be third party apps that are better oriented for HR zone training.

BTW - please don't fall for the old bs 220-age for max HR. That formula is about as accurate as using some number less age to find your shoe size. Do some research on identifying a closer estimate of HRmax. Tip - if the method doesn't involve a bunch of sweat, it's probably not going to give you something specific to you rather than some average over a population of individually different people.

Thanks everyone! Just tried WorkOutDoors on a test walk and it perfect for tracking HR zones!
Should you need or want to talk with the Developer, he is a active member of the forum. @cfc

Continuing with fitness, I highly suggest the following app as well. Superb app for phone and watch and the developer is also an active member here.
