Ok, after having no problems with my MB pro, I am suddenly having all kinds of problems. Today, my trackpad suddenly stopped working. Finger movements don't work, neither does clicks. Now my keyboard is not fully working. It is kind of 'hit and miss.' I had the MB charged and it was not plugged in. It seems to work if I type very slowly. The only other thing I noticed was that it was really lagging today. The busy pinwheel would come up when there wasn't hardly anything even open. This is my business computer, please help.

Turn it off and then turn it on, but continue to hold the power button until the sleep light flashes rapidly. This resets the PMU (power management unit) and might solve your problem. If that doesn't work, I'm willing to say it's a hardware failure.

That worked! Thanks so much.
