Hello, Mac geeks, I have a very serious problem. Yesterday, I woke up finding my MacBook on sleep since last Thursday night, I read a couple of problems that sleeping your computer for a very long time might have side effects.. So, I turned it on and THANK GOD, it worked. After that, My family went to the pool and returned at home. I turned on my MacBook, it went perfectly but then, when it comes to the log in screen, THE CURSOR WON'T MOVE (IT STAYS IN THE LEFT CORNER OF THE SCREEN) AND THE KEYBOARD DOESN'T WORK TOO. So, I decided to rest it for the whole day.. and this morning, I opened it again, the cursor still doesn't move. By the way, I upgraded my MacBook to Snow Leopard. I also tried to reboot. Done it like for the 10th time, but it didn't work also. Should I bring it to the Geniuses in the Apple store or can I do it manually? If so, please help me how to do it manually because I'm still a kid + I'm not that good at computer. Please help me because this laptop is very important to my family. :(

*I also tried to connect it with my Cordless Mouse & Keyboard, but I guess it doesn't identify USBs during Log Ins*

You could try zapping the PRAM.

To do that hold down the Command key, the Option key, the P key and the R key all at the same time while you press the power button to turn it on. Continue to hold the Command, Option, P & R keys until you hear the boot chime 2 or 3 times then let them up and it should boot normally.

The 4-keys need to be pressed down either before you press the power button or immediately after pressing the power button. I find that it helps to have another person press the power button while I hold down the 4-keys.

Hopefully this will help with your trackpad problem.

Still didn't work!

Thanks for the help but It didn't work at all.
Thank you for the help but my parents are going to the Apple store to get it fixed.:p
