trackpad dead?

the trackpad of my macbook air 2018 i5 model is "dead", do you have any tips / tutorials that can maybe "revive" the trackpad?

not sure what happened but I followed many tutorials to reset the NVRAM/PRAM but nothing is happening

any tips are welcome
