Hi,
I have a Macbook pro 2016 with force touchpad.
When I do click on it, it flexes / goes down a little bitt, not much and it's the same over the hole trackpad after the edges.
If you have your finger in the corner on the body and the same time at the trackpad and clicks I can feel that the trackpad goes down a bit, not much at all it's very very little.
Also if I look at the edge och the trackpad and the aluminum body I can see that the trackpad goes down very very little.

I'm just wondering if it's normal and if you have it like that on your MacBook Pro 2016.
Or should it bee rock solid?

Is this what you're seeing? https://cl.ly/iqog I was about to bring this in for repair because I felt like it was somehow broken.

Hi,
I did call AppleCare and this is normal, the touchpad / trackpad can't bee solid according to AppleCare - I did talk with a Senior adviser so I guess that he knows his "stuff".
If the pad was solid the sensors wold have a issue to pick up when you touch it and your doing a force touch.

So every trackpad is more or less flexing.

Did you get any other answer from Apple?

Edit:
here is a film from how my trackpad looks like.
