trackpad lost when imac goes to sleep

Hi Guys i recently got the magig pad from mac and, because my imag did not had a onbord bluetooth i had to get a dongle(belkin). Now every time the iMac goes to sleep the connection to the pad is lost! I have to remove the dongle and reinsert to get the pad going again! Rather anoying 😡 The wireless keybord is not effected.
Any ideas???????

What iMac do you have that doesn't have bluetooth onboard? Just curious. 🙂

Imac 5.2 1.8 ghz
The first imacs came out without bluetooth. If u wanted BT you could get a factory upgrade for about 50$ my dongle did cost me 2.5$🙂
