Does the trackpad on the new MBP 10th generation model have a

1) clicking sound
2) physically click and move a little bit ?

Thanks for any feedback.

It doesn't. It only appears that way. Try using a non-conductive material and pressing it.

If you press really hard, there is some flex in the chassis, which is normal.

Looks like in the new Catalina OS, there is no option given to silencing the “clicking” sound of the trackpad.

Just use tap to click... you don’t need to press and there is no clicking sound.

Apple menu  > System Preferences. Then choose Trackpad, click the Point & Click tab, and then enable Tap to click

No you can’t turn off the haptic off. By disabling Force Click, the trackpad will basically function like any other trackpad that has existed on the Mac, it simply turns off the secondary deeper press features – it will not disable the trackpad itself.

and so it still clicks on the new MacBook Pro .......

Here’s the link I found.
