Hey guys

I only got my macbook about 3 weeks ago, and about 2 weeks ago I posted a message here to say that the trackpad wasnt working, but it only lasted a few seconds. However its got worse and now it isnt working at all.

Does anybody know what the best thing to do is

Thanks for any help in advance and if you need any more information, let me know

Try resetting the PRAM. Google "reset PRAM" for instructions.

If you use an external mouse, look under system preferences to see whether "ignore trackpad if external mouse is connected" is checked or not. If it is, this may be the reason why your trackpad is not working.

If all of the above fails, contact AppleCare for repair/replacement.

Thanks - will resetting my PRAM make me lose any of my settings or anything or what will it do

Thanks for your help
