I bought my Macbook Air when it was released a few month back. A few weeks ago, my trackpad started to react on just touches, registering it as actual clicks.

This means that if I hold one finger at the lower right on the trackpad(just holding it not clicking), and then moves the left finger around, the trackpad starts to select things and dragging stuff around.

I thought this was a hardware thing, but then my room mate got the same problem, so it's seems now that it's a software problem. Anyone know how to solve it? It's really annoying.

Thanks a lot. :apple:

Have you checked your trackpad settings in system preferences to be sure you don't have 'tap to click' and 'drag lock' enabled?
