Hi everyone,

I bought a late 2013 13 inch retina mac book pro around the end of last year. The trackpad came inactivated and I had to call tech support to do the enitial setup via keyboard. I was able to enable one tap touches va the system preferences. The macbook seems to be working fine other than the rocky startup. Do you think there is a reason be concerned for potential problems in the future? I need to get at least 3 to five years of use on it. Thanks all.

It is strange but if it is working now, I don't think it will fail.

If you want to get more out of your trackpad in general, check out BetterTouchTool. Just the standard Apple gestures are lame, BTT can do a whole lot more.
