Trackpad Type

Good morning, everyone! I am currently using another website to compare my current MacBook Pro (Retina Late 2013, 13", Model A1502) to the new i5 Macbook Air. I got to the section titled "Input Type", and I see this difference between the two:

Input Type
Trackpad (Inertial) - my MacBook Pro
Trackpad (Force Touch) - new i5 MBA

Will someone tell me if the Force Touch will not let me just lightly "tap" on the trackpad, like I can with my MacBook Pro? Is the Force Touch trackpad one that I actually have to push down hard to make selections, etc.? Meaning, is the MBA trackpad going to make that click sound?

Silent clicking on 2020 MBA?

Can anyone who has the new 2020 MacBook Air in their possession tell us whether the Silent Clicking option is present in the trackpad settings? Really curious, as I've enjoyed that feature in my MacBooks.
