So people are saying that the 2011 MacBook Pro trackpad is glass? It feels very aluminum not glass. Also how do people clean it?

Yes, the multi-touch trackpad on the MacBook Pro has been made out of glass since the release of the "unibody" design in late 2008.
I clean mine using the same microfiber cloth and cleaning solution (simple non-alcoholic LCD screen cleaner) that I use to clean the rest of my computer, it works great.
