Trackpad

Apple replaced my M1 MBP and the new unit seems fine, except switching between desktops. Previously when I'd swipe it was smooth, now its almost more of a rough close of the app. Is there a setting I could have messed up?

Sounds like you have have enabled Reduce Motion in Accessibility.
