Forgive me if this has been asked. But has anyone been able to trade in an Apple Watch at the Apple Store for a New one? They now have them available in a few days at my local store but when I order online for pick up in store it states that my Trade in will not be accepted at the store and I must mail it in.

I was, but I did try my best to be able to check online at the Apple online order site that my watch was in stock and then drove over. Not all the bands were in stock that I wanted so I had to settle for one I have since put on Ebay for sale. The store employee was able to help me in my case add a second watch to my phone. And of course they took my watch back for $155 (7th generation 45mm Midnight). I just had to show my license. Good luck! They do everything to get your old watch off and your new watch on. Delaware store in my case.

I traded in my Ultra 1 for an Ultra 2 in store a few days ago and there were no issues. They even have a sign in the store telling people they can trade in their devices. I'd definitely make sure they have the watch you want in the store though before you go over there.
