Trade in for ultra

Question- I know I’m not charged until new Apple Watch is shipped - but if I’m selling old Apple Watch as part of trade in does trade in happen immediately or only when said item is shipped as well?

Am thinking of trading in my AW6. But, Apple are now only offering $150. I could have sworn it was much more last week.

If I am not mistaken, you can also do the trade-in in person at your local Apple Store, if you have one.

This is good info, but I didn't see anything official from Apple indicating they would delay sending the trade-in kit, or send it approximately at the time the Ultra ships. But they did say you have 14 days after receiving the kit.

I wasn't going to upgrade to the ULTRA until I was offered that. Now it's an easy choice.

Just spoke with an Apple rep who said the trade-in kit would ship approx the time the Ultra ships. If it does come much sooner, they said to call and get the 14 day rule relaxed.

cashforyourmac is an excellent deal, and the price is locked in for 30 days. But unless they were to extend that, you would still be without a watch for a few weeks. And if you were to wait to get the deal from them, the quote could likely be reduced.

Yes, realize that, but getting an extra $120 toward that Ultra makes the short absence of a watch worth it for me.

I realize others may not like being without a watch for approximately 2 weeks.

i actually think before the announcement the value was higher at 300 something but i'm not certain. either way, cash for your mac has much better trade in values for any device compared to apple trade in. great service

Oh, I am certain it was higher. I made the mistake of deciding to buy the Ultra hours after it went on preorder so I definitely came to the trade-in game a little late and took a little loss as a result.

Glad to hear cashforyourmac is reliable. I was sort of surprised they were offering such a high trade-in.

yes they are reliable. i have used them for a macbook pro & mac mini trade in. they gave me the promised amount a couple days after.
