Just checked website and the 13Pro max trade in is only $720! It was $790 for the 12pro max last year!!!

Hmmm would iup be cheaper if you upgrade every year???

Yup. Yesterday my 12 was $400, today it's $320. THAT's how they are justifying not increasing the price on the 14 pro I guess.

Sell it instead. That's what I'm doing with my 13 Pro Max.
If you don't mind me asking, how much are you selling it for? I have the 13 pro max 256GB and I'm not sure what a good price would be to sell it for.

Thanks,

My 13 Pro Max is paid off. Should I trade in with Apple to get $720 off or should I trade in with my carrier (T-Mobile) and get $1,000 off ($705 discount and $294 bill credits)?

I'm based in Canada and I purchased my 13 Pro Max 512GB for $1959.00CAD+TAX $2213.67CAD. I'm getting offers for $1750CAD on my local online reselling site.

i dont like bill credits - gimmie my bread all at once.

you are asking a personal question that will field many opinions. for me, i dont want the hassle of dealing with online -- lots of people will sell their phones and supply might be greater than demand (depending on trim model).

you might get 2-300 depending on trim model but you may have to hustle to get that. for me id just rather sell to apple for 720 and be done with it. my time is more valuable than that small money.

It depends on how much of a hassle free experience you want.

If you want the hassle free trade in experience from Apple and you have a compatible T-Mobile plan then going the T-Mobile route makes the most sense. It is what I’m doing on my 13 Pro.

You get the $600 credit ($720 for you with the Pro Max) applied from Apple. Then you’re “financing” the remainder with T-Mobile who will then give you a bill credit for 2 years to wipe it out.

Solid deal I think.

What site is that ?

All the carriers are discounting the 13 Pro's for a while now, seems crazy that someone would offer you that amount.

I don’t see any reason to upgrade from year to year. Mostly just incremental upgrades presented as innovations, but they are really just polished turds nowadays! A lot of smoke and mirrors, but little of substance. The iPhone 13 Pro Max will be more than adequate for years to come…
