So we have a dying 16gb iPad 2, it's my daughter's, iOS8 has not been kind to the device... so I'm looking to trade it into Best Buy this weekend.

They're currently running a deal for $150 for the iPad 2 and a $50 coupon (minmum $200 deal) if you buy the iPad Air 2.

It looks as though if you don't buy the Air 2 you'll get $150 (at least so it seems on the website) and the remainder of $50 is given to you in a coupon.

My current plan is to buy a 64gb Air 2 for myself and give her my 64gb rMini... an upgrade for both of us.

But I've been thinking. It would save me a little bit of money to buy the 16gb or 32gb for $399 or $449 (and getting $150 for my iPad 2 instead of $200) instead of paying $599 (minus $200) for the Air 2 64gb.

Basically to simplify things; which is the more worthy upgrade from an iPad 2?

iPad Air 16gb-32gb for $250-$300 or iPad Air 2 64gb for $400?

well, what do you use/plan to use the iPad for?

Standard stuff, surfing, videos, reading comics. I've gone with the Air 2. The deal is pretty much the same across the board but for the newest tech in getting the air 2
