iPhone SE (2016) Traded xs for se

decided to give my daughter my XS and took her se, so happy, love this little phone sooo much and it’s amazing how well ios13 runs on it, it seems to run better than on the xs. I was hoping for Apple to refresh the se but now that it looks like they will not I just wanted to enjoy a Steve Jobs phone for a little while longer

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by a "Steve Jobs phone."

Do you mean it is closer to the original pixel point size (320x480) and screen size (3.5") of the iPhone 4S - the phone that was announced the day before he died?

I used one for 3 weeks after i sold my Xr while waiting for my 11 pro, got it for $50 sold it for $250. To small for typing for me, screen too small for work stuff.

I kinda want to get one like OP. Just to keep around. That was such a great design. The iPhone 4 & 5 were classic.

You must have mighty big hands! I can only just reach the top corner of my SE when I am holding it in one hand and to be honest I know I have large hands, I can do an octave plus 3 on the piano!

Maybe if you're not using it as a phone and instead as a TV it could be too small but mine is a phone, mp3 player and internet communicator! Not a TV!

I love the SE, but it’s in massive need of a screen upgrade. I have no issue with the size, but that screen quality is brutal for 2019. Unfortunately the SE2 (rumors) lost sight of what made the SE a success, the size.

Doesn’t the SE have a 326 PPI? Similar to the mini 5

I love the size of the device, but the screen is too small for media consumption. I love watching YouTube videos, so it wouldn't work for me anymore. But, if you take away that, its the perfect size.

Love the SE, love the size, but the screen size is too damn small. If only it a had bezel-less design like the X... but I know that's never going to happen.

Seriously contemplating about picking up a cheap 8 just because of the bigger screen.

Agree the se could be improved but it’s the last of a breed so just enjoying it while it still works well.... as far as the Steve Jobs comment, he was clear he was not a fan of phablets and thought the phone should be pocketable and used one handed, the iPad was meant to fill in for mor productive task, I agree with that philosophy, but yeah we are in the minority obviously

Btw, I didn’t care much for dark mode on the xs but it seems to make the se better, more readable, very impressed with 13 on this phone

Yeah the SE is from a time when people didn’t consume so much, at least outside the home. I’m still one of those people. I don’t think everyone should be like me, but I am frustrated that there isn’t an iphone for me anymore. Maybe that’ll change by the time my SE peters out.

I love my SE as a back up phone and as an iPod touch. Really love the headphone jack.

I’d dig an SE for a backup phone to listen to music and such. YouTube is better enjoyed on my 11 or better yet, on my iPad.
