Is there anyway to trade in my black iPhone for A white? Or is everything final?

If you are within the return period (15 days? 30 Days?), I suppose you could pay the restocking fee.

Other than that, I don't think so...

Where are you located? I have a 6-day old white and I wish I had gotten a black 16GB.

Maybe a trade?

Many including myself have done straight up swaps at the apple store wihtout restocking fee.

Although it is up to the manager's discretion, the 3 out of 4 I have spoken to offered to do it without the fee as long as you have the box, accessories and receipt and are within the 15 day limit.

Okay.. what would I say? Something along the lines I purchased my iPhone within 15 days and if there's anyway I could trade it in for a different color?

i just traded my 8gb for a 16gb on mon at the 5th ave store, as long as you are within 14 days you are fine

also, they waived the restocking fee for me...whole process took about 15-20 min, i even got to bypass the voucher/3g wait line and do the whole thing at the regular checkout line

a+ apple

I don't think the reason matters if you have to pay the restocking fee.

Tell them you are disappointed in the way the black shows every scratch, and that you want to switch to white...

Or slap a white case on it. The incase slider comes in white and should release soon.

I think that's a great low cost alternative. I prefer black, but if I wanted to have a white one on occasion just as a change of pace I would just buy the incase slider. Heck if I had a white iPhone I would have that very case anyway. :D
