Trading in new pre-SR MBP for a new SR MBP

Hi All!

I just received a brand new MBP as a present. Problem is, it was bought a few months ago before the SR MBPs were released.

Do you think there's a possibility that an Apple store would let me trade it in for a new one?

They might take it back for a refund minus a 10% restocking fee if you have a receipt. Otherwise no.

a few months ago? the answer is no. they have a clearly defined return policy and usually stick with it.
