Truth is i do wear them a lot less due to my series 4 Apple Watch and my training schedule throughout the week.

My Rolex are now mainly weekend watches or if I have an event in the evening midweek kind of thing.

Nice collection. Last I checked, the Daytona was back ordered for almost a year. I don’t know what’s happening to me, but I really have been growing towards mechanical watches as of late, (And I’m a huge proponent of the Apple Watch), but I find myself splurging more with mechanical watches and adding to my collection within the last few weeks. I Have a few more I want to look/purchase in the next few weeks. It has been a spiraling addiction, but a fun one.

I have only used my AW since it came out...except once or twice on formal occasions. But I am a watch addict and have some really beautiful & expensive ones in my collection. I just adore all the functions on my AW & how practical it is!

Still wearing my S0 daily. Just revamped the complications and made it three times more useful. My trusty, rugged Timex Expedition waits in my daily carry for those rare days travelling when the battery dies or when I don’t want to be connected.

I'm a "traditional" watch kinda guy so I never really had any interest in the Apple watch.
Last Xmas, my wife was gifted an S3 to replace her S0 so I took her S0.
I wear it sometimes, usually around the house on the weekend and usually strap it on in the evenings and while "working out".
But it never gets any wrist time during the week during "business hours" hah.
Those are reserved for my "traditional" watches.
However I have found the Apple Watch to be quite handy and useful when I do wear it.
So much so that I'm considering upgrading for Xmas...which is what brought me to this sub-forum.
SO I guess you can say I, uh, go both ways, but the Apple Watch does not get as much wrist time as my mechanicals.

This leads to a very interesting quandary for me. I bought a new automatic a couple of weeks ago, wore it for a few days, then tossed it on my desk. The lightness, the usability, and the practicality of the apple watch for my everyday work just blows away any watch I have ever owned. I am really trying to get back into watches, but the apple watch is just killing that.

I use both, a mechanical watch and apple watch, because I love variation.
My mechanical watch is my everyday watch. Always wear a mechanical watch if I work far away from home or on short weekend trips. It’s kinda of a relief to know, that your wristwatch is not depended on a power source when youre far from home.
My apple watch 0 became a fitness tracker more and more, since it was kinda slow and was lacking functions (altimeter, gps, eSim, 1000 nits display, water resistant 50 m, all screen design, walkie talkie and more informative complications like with the new infograph watchfaces) which should have been delivered since day 1 imo.

Since i got the series 4, i am wearing it all the time though lol. Im still over the moon with my SBSS SERIES 4!
Wearing it all day since 2 months :)

I had a smartwatch (Sony) about 5 years ago when my phone was as large as a tablet (yes a cellular/mobile tablet) and needed a smartwatch to see calls, sms, emails, events, etc other notifications or send a messages/make calls when the tablet was in my bag. Then i got a regular phone and i really didnt use the smartwatch any more because the phone was (and it is) around me all the time.

however... Since then i have worn automatic swiss made watches - they are beaty of complex mechanism and sort of jewelry every man can wear having alittle bit luxury and joy of nice mechanical design of automatic movements.

i wonder if the watch will be just a new toy for couple of days and after the first crush, it stays on my desk, and im back wearing a traditional watches again.

how about others who use traditional watches?
Hiya! I'm clasic watch user and also I'm a minimalist, so I do not use Apple Watch at all. I have another's band fitness device and classic Tissot watch.

i have been wearing my apple watch daily after i got it... and i must admit, sometimes i feel silly when wearing it. it feels like a toy i wished to have when i was a kid and playing a starship captain.

it would be much nicer if i could choose the color for infos. there are now too many colours at the same time on the screen. the black silicone band is ridiculous - it feels absolutely great, but it looks cheap. sometimes it makes me feeling that im wearing a medical device around my wrist and i can push the huge button to make an emergency call and get a nurse. it definitely needs a better band.

im really not sure what i am going to do. i miss my automatic watches, alot, but i also would like to track my excercises etc. atleast i need to find a decent leather strap for it - with a silicone band it looks like... a.. ehm... some sort of odd device around my wrist.

Love your Seamaster Pro, I have the exact same one! I can't get that bracelet to fit quite right, so mine's on a NATO.

I'll always love my mechanical watches, but since I've upgraded to the Series 4, it's been getting a lot of wrist time!
