    iTunes

I'm hoping to do the same thing for my 13" rMBP. My entire library won't fit on it, but I'll have 95% of it.

I'm wondering about syncing though. I'd like to use it, as a primary reader, but have the actual full library backup elsewhere. I guess I'd just always add to the backup with new stuff, and drag and drop to the transcend drive.

I have one of these. It works well. I store some media and large downloads on it. The only down side is sometimes when dealing with tiny files it tends to slow down. It also doesnt do simultaneous file access well, it tends to slow down. For itunes, its perfect.

Well I ended up purchasing the card and so far its performing well. I am keeping my iTunes library backed up on an external HD but the card is there for my every day reading and writing of my library.

If only they did a 500GB version. haha
