thanks, so just to clarify.. if one has upgrade from say Mavs (which had trim enabled for these drives) to 10.10.3, and now 10.10.4, should one go in and enable trim using the apple command or just leave it alone?

My transcend drive currently says in System report TRIM support - No

There's many threads in this forum about Trim, and the consensus is that it's a good thing. I have enabled it on my MBA and my Mac Pro. Enable trim with the Trim command on OS 10.10.4 or the PB of 10.11.

And as I said above. While still in 10.10.3, disable Trim that was enabled with any third party utility and enable kext signing before upgrading to 10.10.4.

Is there any way to determine when (unless they already have) Transcend will launch a 960Gb version for the mid 2015 15" Macbook Pro? I have in my hands, a 725 ordered from Amazon and alas, it's on its way back as the connector is subtley different...

Also, how does someone ask Transcend directly? I couldn't see a way on their website?

Such a shame as I needed the space quickly!
