I am cutting a TV promo for an upcoming pitch (*fingers crossed*) using various stock footage pulled from teh internets.

Some are in FLV, others are in an unreadable version of AVI... oh and I've got two WMV's as well 🙄
VLC opens the AVI ones, but, as far as I can tell, is unable to transcode them into a format useful to Quicktime (and quicktime based apps, such as–hint hint–Final Cut)

I don't even know where to begin for the FLV ones...

Help? 😱

Thank you! That is a huge help. Transcoding as we, uh. type. 😛

Now, what do I do about the AVIs and WMVs? 😱 🙁
