Im installing a SSD in my MBP and will be doing a fresh OS X install. I will put the OEM HDD into a USB enclosure so that I can access the info i need from it. I know how to transfer over things like my iTunes folder but Im a little uncertain about app data.

Example - with the OS running on the SSD i click on finder and go to the HDD and click on an app like iPhoto, I then right click "show package content" and then copy over the entire "content" folder to the same location but on the SSD.

If I do this will all the photos and albums transfer over so when I open iPhoto for the first time on the SSD it will already have my photos and albums loaded?
