I just bought a new MacBook Pro, my Mid-2009 died last Saturday. I was to go ahead and reuse my old HD from my Mid-2009 MacBook Pro. What's the best option to back-up the data so I can reuse it old my new MacBook Pro.

Remove the HD and put it in a USB enclosure.
