iPod Transfer iPod to windows XP

Could u plz tell me a program so i can tranfer all my songs from the ipod to my itunes in windows XP

Assuming the iPod is formatted for Windows, just enable the viewing of hidden files in Explorer (through the Tools menu, I believe) and then you can grab your tracks from there. Dragging them directly back into iTunes should suffice.

when i connect to windows it asks me to restore it to windows..
If i press okay will it erase my songs in the ipod...

Yes, it will erase everything basically. If you want to use it with Windows and Mac, you have to format it for Windows (not NTFS though, Macs can't write to that)

well i use something called ipod util and it is free so google it and get it .
not sure bout ur ipod tho

iTunes for Windows should take care of that now, at least, with version 7.

Since the iPod is formatted for Mac, the PC will need an app like MacDrive simply to be able to read it. If you have the option, reformat the iPod on the PC, re-sync it on the Mac (a Mac can work fine with a PC-formatted iPod) and then try getting your music back from the iPod onto the PC using one of the methods above.
