I don't think this is possible, but maybe it is.

Is it possible to move your itunes music (mp3, aac, etc) to another place and still have the current playcount stay. The reason I am asking is because I am getting a new computer at work and I wanted to move my music from my ibook to my new powermac. I know the music will transfer, but I have smart play lists that play my more popular music and music I have not heard in awhile.

Can I copy an itunes perference or something?

thanks in advance

Just copy the "iTunes 4 Music Library"-files in ~/Music/iTunes/ to the new Machine, same location... point iTunes on the new machine to wherever you put the actual music files, and you should be ok...
