I would like to transfer photos from my Mac to my iPhone. I understand you can use iTunes to sync your library, but I really don't like that method. Another method is using Airdrop, but it's tedious and I found that the images do not show up in the camera roll in the appropriate order. So I am wondering, what's the best method to transfer photos to an iPhone from a Mac? Anyone recommend a good program? Thanks to all and Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you as well!

This may help without iTunes

Turn on iCloud Photo Library
  • On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > iCloud > Photos, then turn on iCloud Photo Library.
  • On your Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud > Options next to Photos, then select iCloud Photo Library.

I don't have enough space to upload all my photos to the iCloud photo library. Thanks though!

Hi you can buy 50GB of additional iCloud storage
iPhone > Settings > iCloud > Storage > Buy more storage

Its 79p here so if you sign up - sync - cancel straight away if you dont want to pay the 79p a month

So 79p for a solution to the problem. Assuming photo library is less than 50GB
Hope this helps.
