Transfer SMS from PC to iPhone

Hi everyone,

Updated my iPhone 3G to OS 4 and it was really slow so I used Tansee iPhone Transfer SMS to copy my text messages to my PC & restored back to 3.1.3.

Is there a way to transfer them back to the iphone from the PC.

If you're jailbroke, you can copy the SMS.db file back to the iPhone from the backup. Otherwise, not that I know of.

Myself and my colleagues at our law firm all use a little tool called Decipher TextMessage for saving and exporting our iPhone text messages with clients to our computers. Great utility and inexpensive.

PS: I don't think iTunse can do it, if you need to transfer messags from iPhone to PC, you have to try some third party app like iPhone data transfer. this guide on how to transfer messages from iPhone to Mac without iTunes.
