Transfer songs from iPhone to new HD on iMac.

Got an email from Apple to replace my SeaGate HD. Only thing that I am worried about is my music that is stored on the hd. I have iTunes Match and all of my music is stored on my iPhone 4S. Just wondering if anyone here can help me to transfer my music back to the new hd. Any help is appreciated.

I found this to be the most straight forward way without having to install or buy any additional software. Instructions are for an ipod but I would guess it works just the same for the iPhone.

If you are taking it to a certified apple repair facility to swap out the drives, they should do transfer all the files for you for free.

If you have iTunes Match, you won't need to move the files. Just activate Match in iTunes on your new HD and download all the songs from the cloud.
