    Hello.
I have some battery related problems with my macbook pro and it seems that I have to send it for repairs.
Currently I'm working on my master project and I can't wait for a week or so to get it back.
I have a mac mini. Will I have any problems if I remove the ssd from my late 2011 pro and put it in the mini?
The programs will work + parallels etc or I will have permission problems??
    Thanks

It should work fine. Of course, your Mac mini may not have enough RAM og CPU to handle your apps sufficiently.

Should go fine, I took a drive straight out of a 2007 white macbook and put in a 2010 pro and it booted perfect. Check all the updates are up to date and should be good to go.

It will work fine, I did that with an SSD from my 2010 MBP to my 2009 Mini.

Again will work fine. Did this with the drive from my broken late-2011 MBP into the 2009 Mini. First boot takes a bit longer, after that it will work just fine.

Yeah, make sure to check that the OS you are running on your Mac Mini is running an OS that supports the Macbook pro.

Mac mini runs Mavericks and macbook pro runs mountain lion. You mean that both machines should run the same os?

No, that should be fine. I meant that your Mac Mini could in theory be running an older version of OSX that doesn't have drivers for the MBP.

Except the OP is taking the drive from the MBP and putting it in the Mini..
