Fair enough. If you plan on doing a lot of video conversion then VisualHub is deifnitely worth the price tag (it is a solid app) but it isn't for everyone depending on their situation (perhaps such as yours).

Well, I do lots of that, and I will have to get something, but iDVD on eBay seems to be cheaper... Oh... I've just seen the spec needed, oh well, people say 1ghz reccomended?

Hmm, not sure if this would cause any issues for you ro not... :eek:

Regardless, with a 400 MHz system keep in mind that any type of video encoding you do is going to take a loooong time... ;)

Oh yeehhhh. I have a trial of iVCD running at the mo and its been going for almost an hour and isnt even half done
 
Acually, i'm kinda inclined to forget it all and copy the movie from the camcorder straight into my vista machine (although i will have to dig it out and wire it up)
 
I think I will let my mac carry on with iVCD trial and see what it's like. DO you know why the original mov file wont work on XP?
