Transfering music from Mac to PC

Whats the best way to transfer my music (2,500 songs) from my PB to my PC, i want to use iTunes on the PC but i cant just copy and paste my iTunes folder.

Because the iTunes on my PC is PC software, while the one on my PB is Mac software, it would not work 🙂

Have you tried transferring an MP3 and an AAC file to test it?

The iTunes folder contains the music library file (in xml) which is the same on PCs and Macs, and all the music (mp3, aac and whatever) is also just the same...

The iTunes application have to be redownloaded, but the iTunes folder, in your <users home folder>/Music can and should be be dragged over without any problems...

I just burned my music on 3 DVD's and have them on my PC where should i put them? I am sorry but this is the first time i needed to do this and can figer it out.
