transfering stuff from mac to mac

is it possible to transwer my keychain from my imac to my macbook pro?

and can i transfer my bookmarks from safari as well?

i personally set up a .mac account on a free trial (30days), works great, and is free 🙂 or you can use firewire target mode and migration assistant (utilities)

If it's only the Keychains and Safari bookmarks you could try this:

Safari bookmarks (definitely works): copy from <yourhome>/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist to <newhome>/Library/Safari/ (will overwrite the bookmarks you had on the new Mac)

Keychains (not sure, never tried it... could be that it won't work as on the other Mac you have a different account and password, probably): copy from <yourhome>/Library/Keychains/<the_keychains.keychain> to <newhome>/Library/Keychains/ (same applies regarding overwriting.... could be good advice to copy the old keychains to your desktop for instance!)
