Hey friends,

I'm graduating college and I want to pass on an iWeb project I've maintained to a member of my group who will still be at school next year. What's the best way to do this? Is there one specific file I can give my friend that he can use in his version of iWeb? Thanks a lot :)

iWeb saves your sites in User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain. Copy that Domain file and give it to your friend. Keep in mind, however, that there is no way to merge your site with your friend's iWeb projects. It's an either/or deal - if he copies that Domain file into his iWeb folder, it will overwrite any web projects he has built.

One way around this is for you to export your site to a folder, give that folder to your group-mate, and have him ftp it to whatever web server he will be using. He could also then edit the site in Dreamweaver, for example, rather than having to use iWeb (although good luck trying to make sense of the garbled and convoluted code iWeb uses).
