Transferring app data help

I'm getting the iPhone 4 and i have a lot of game apps that have saved data, and i was wondering when i Transfer the apps to my new phone does the data of the apps save or does it delete the data? Any help would be appreciated 🙂

When you switch phones and sync with iTunes, you can restore from the backup of your old phone. That'll transfer everything: text messages, game data, settings, everything.
