Tried searching the threads but couldn't find an answer. So apologies if this has already been asked but if I have an eSIM for my current iPhone and want to use eSIM on my replacement iPhone 12, can I transfer my eSIM during the set-up process or will I need to go to the AT&T store and request a new eSIM? Thanks in advance!!!

There is an Apple process to transfer your eSIM, which is something fairly new. I have not used it before, and can't say if it will work with AT&T or not. I also use AT&T with eSIM, and will be trying this process when I get my phone tomorrow. If it doesn't work, I'll have to contact AT&T. I've seen conflicting stories about whether you need to go to the store and get another eSIM card, or if they can do it over the phone.

Ok here it is folks. I was able to step through the Quick Start procedure on a freshly wiped iPhone 11 Pro from mine up to this point where it asks to transfer the eSIM. Super super cool. This is with AT&T. Getting to this point was entirely non-destructive as my current phone suffered no loss...

This method is fantastic. I've done this many times switching between a 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max for work. Nice and easy.
