I have a 8gb memory stick and want to transfer my 5gb zip file to it but i get error code 0. I read this is because my zip file is too big in FAT format and that if i change it to ntsf or something i'll be able to transfer it.

1. How do i change it into ntsf format

2.what should i download to write into the ntsf format memory stick on my mac.

Thanks in advance !

NTFS probably won't be your best option because your Mac won't write to NTFS. Use Disk Utility to format and see what your options are. If Mac OS X format is available, and you're moving the file to another Mac, then that will be your best option.

Another option would be splitting the file into 2GB chunks and putting them back together on the other machine. A compression utility should be able to help you with that.

.

oh ok. Sadly its a windows so cutting it into 2gb chunks is probably my best bet here.

Any recommended programs to do this?

You should be able to format it NTFS and use NTFS-3G to write to it
