Might just need to bite the bullet and transfer manually, that's what I had to do when I got rid of my RAZR.

Usually the transfer is done through the Address book on a Mac and Outlook for PC, not sure if AT&T can transfer via sim card..

Click to expand... this is correct, but they can also do it for you at the store (at least they did at ATT for me). be aware, though, that only the first number of each contact gets transferred. i had to enter the rest manually.
