Your recommendation to use FAT32 and your statement that NTFS didn't work on a 6GB file could be misunderstood by some to think that FAT32 would have worked. It's not the best format to use in such cases. I simply clarified that point for those who aren't aware of the 4GB limitation.
 
I don't actually have my install disc. When I bought my computer from my friend, we took it to Apple and they deleted the hard drive for me so that it was like new.

Any ideas?
There are many times when your install discs would come in handy. You can call Apple for replacement discs.
