Hi I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer files from an iphone to a mac. Is there a way to do this, some library that allows and iphone to communicate with a mac, possibly over bluetooth or wifi? I'd like to make an iphone app that can send files to a mac.

It's definitely possible, but you'd probably need an app or service running on the Mac for it to be able to receive the file.

Unless I'm mistaken, iOS 7 has some incarnation of AirDrop on it which might facilitate this, but I haven't looked into that.

Ok, thanks your your answer. Ideally I'd like to be able to place the file into a specific directory on the mac. Do you know if this is possible?
