Transferring Information from iPhone to iPhone

Hello..

This might be a silly question but... I went to the store and changed my iPhone 15 pro for the 15 pro MAX. The guy at the store transferred everything from one phone to the other. Contacts, photos, apps, settings, wallpaper, etc... everything looked in the Pro Max like in my other phone. My question is... should I leave it like that or is it better to factory reset the phone and start from scratch to install apps, settings and all the other stuff...

Yes, the data migration from your old iPhone to new works pretty good...
It should look like your old iPhone, as everything transferred over..
Are you having a problem with the new iPhone?
I would say: If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

It’s absolutely not “better” to erase and start from scratch.

There can be reasons to do it - not installing apps you no longer need, for example, will use less storage and be less cluttered. But the trade-off is the significant amount of time & effort involved that could be put to better use elsewhere, and self-editing / removing unneeded apps will accomplish the same thing.

I’ve done a full erase/start-from-scratch exactly once since my original iPhone 3G. And that once was a waste of time.

The nuclear option of starting fresh after wiping the data off the phone is usually recommended (by Apple techs) only when the phone is acting erratically and nothing seems to fix the problems. It’s considered the last resort option.
